You do not need a weekend retreat or a candlelit temple to begin. Choose one exercise, set aside twenty minutes, and bring your willingness to be uncomfortable.
These three exercises are the entry point. For the complete couples path behind them, start with sacred sexuality for couples. For the complete practice library, see all sacred sexuality practices for couples. To build these into a sustainable routine, read how to build a daily intimacy practice.
The exercises below come from the Yoga of Intimacy Path. the practice system taught by Justin Patrick Pierce and Londin Angel Winters. They are done seated, facing each other, with eye contact and synchronized breath. Every exercise starts the same way: sit down, look at each other, and begin breathing together.
Exercise 1: See Each Other (20 minutes)
Set a 20-minute timer with a 10-minute interval bell. This is the foundation of the I See Practice. One partner says “I see...” and describes what they honestly see in their partner. The other partner receives and responds with a number from 1 to 10 for how deeply they feel seen. After 10 minutes, switch roles. The quality that matters most: see your partner without trying to coach, fix, or change them. The skillful version of this exercise sounds like “I see sadness in your eyes”, rather than “I see that you need to relax.”
Exercise 2: Feel Together (20 minutes)
Same setup and timing: 10 minutes for one partner, then switch roles for another 10 minutes. This is the foundation of the I Feel Practice. One partner says “I feel...” and shares what is happening in their body and heart. The rule is to share feelings, not thoughts disguised as feelings. “I feel resistant to telling you how I feel” is honest. “I feel like you always let me down” is a thought. Restate it: “I feel alone and unsupported.” While one partner speaks, both continue breathing together. The breath is the bridge.

This is the practice that changes everything for most couples. One partner says “I want...” and the other responds with “Yes” or “More.” Wants must be fulfillable right now. No references to other people, different bodies, or past experiences. Speak your actual desire, the real one. Practice for 10 minutes, then switch roles for another 10 minutes.
What These Exercises Create
These exercises create polarity. the dynamic interplay of Alpha and Omega that generates desire. One partner sees (Alpha). One partner is seen (Omega). One partner commands (Alpha). One partner responds (Omega). The roles trade back and forth, and in the trading, something comes alive between you that talking cannot produce.

Frequently Asked Questions
How often should we do these exercises?
Daily practice produces the strongest results. A complete partner round takes 20 minutes: 10 minutes per partner. Morning practice is the cornerstone for Justin and Londin, a non-negotiable daily container.
What if I do not know what to say?
That is where the practice begins. The discomfort of not knowing what to say is the growth edge. Stay in your body, keep breathing, and let something honest come. even if it is “I see that I do not know what to say right now.”
Can I do these exercises alone?
A modified version, yes. Solo I See and I Feel practices. where you turn the seeing and feeling inward. are taught in the Yoga of Intimacy Patreon community for both men and women.
What if my partner gets emotional?
That means the practice is working. Stay present. Keep breathing. Do not try to fix the emotion or rush past it. Your steady presence is the gift.
